2.3.2.2 Where the Parties interconnect their networks pursuant to a Fiber Meet, the Parties shall jointly engineer and operate this Interconnection as a Synchronous Optical NETwork (SONET) ring or single point-to-point linear SONET system. Administrative control of the SONET system shall be mutually agreed upon by the Parties. Only Interconnection trunks or trunks used to provide ancillary services as described in Section 3 of this Article shall be provisioned over this facility.
Fiber Meet Interconnection. 2.3.2.1 Fiber Meet Interconnection between CenturyLink and ELTOPIA can occur at any mutually agreeable, economically and technically feasible point(s) between a CenturyLink End Office and ELTOPIA's premises within the local calling area. ELTOPIA shall request a Fiber Meet Point of Interconnection by submitting a BFR for the same.
3.4.1 Reserved for future use.
3.4.2 When the Parties agree to interconnect their networks pursuant to the Fiber Meet, a single point-to-point linear chain SONET system must be utilized, unless the parties agree otherwise.
3.4.3 Neither Party will be allowed to access the Data Communications Channel (“DCC”) of the other Party’s Fiber Optic Terminal (FOT). The Fiber Meet will be designed so that each Party may, as far as is technically feasible, independently select the transmission, multiplexing, and fiber terminating equipment to be used on its side of the POI(s). The Parties will work cooperatively to achieve equipment and vendor compatibility of the FOT equipment.
Fiber Meet Interconnection. (5) other methods resulting from a Sprint request made pursuant to the Bona Fide Request/New Business Request process set forth in the General Terms and Conditions – Part A of this Agreement; and (6) any other methods as mutually agreed to by the Parties.
