Fifth General Wage Increase. Effective July 1, 2024, all standard basic daily rates of pay in effect on June 30, 2021 for employees covered by this Agreement shall be increased by four-and-one-half (4.5) percent, computed and applied in the same manner prescribed in Section 1 above.
Fifth General Wage Increase. (for other than Dining Car Stewards) Effective July 1, 2009, all standard basic daily rates of pay in effect on June 30, 2009 for employees represented by the United Transportation Union shall be increased by four-and-one-half (4-1/2) percent, computed and applied in the same manner prescribed in Section 1(b) above.
