File. This refers to the dossier described in Article 26.15 and all the material that may be appended to the dossier (or “included in the candidate’s file”) as the application moves through the decision-making process.

A teacher shall have the right to indicate those documents and/or other materials in his file, which he/she believes to be obsolete and otherwise inappropriate to retain. Said documents shall be reviewed by the Superintendent or his/her designee and if, in fact, they are obsolete and otherwise inappropriate to retain, they shall be destroyed. Disputes over the retention of said documents may be processed through the grievance procedure commencing at Level Two.
