Filling of Open, Regular Full-Time Runs. Vacancies due to bid vacation and other known leaves of four (4) or more days on a regular full-time run shall be posted to operate as a “hold-down.” If the duration of the hold-down is extended beyond that which was initially posted, the Operator will have the option of continuing the hold-down until the next general sign up or the return of the regular driver to the run, whichever occurs first; or retaining their subsequent assignment. These known hold-downs shall be posted on Wednesday at 4:00

  • Regular Full-Time A regular full-time employee is any person employed on a full-time permanent basis whose duties fall within the bargaining unit as defined in Article 2 of this Agreement and who has completed the probationary period.

  • Regular Full-Time Employee A regular full-time employee is defined as one in respect of whom there is a regular schedule of work providing 70 hours of work biweekly.

  • Regular Full-Time Employees A regular full-time employee is one who works full-time on a regularly scheduled basis. Regular full-time employees accumulate seniority and are entitled to all benefits outlined in this Collective Agreement.

  • Leave of Absence for Full-Time Union or Public Duties An employee who is elected or selected for a full-time position with the Union or anybody with which the Union is affiliated, or who is elected to public office, shall be granted leave of absence without pay and without loss of seniority.

  • Full-Time Union or Public Duties The Employer shall grant, on written request, leave of absence without pay:

  • Full-Time Union Leave Upon application by the Union, in writing, the Company will grant leave of absence, without pay, to an employee elected or appointed to full-time Union position. It is understood that not more than one (1) employee in the bargaining unit may be on such leave at the same time. Seniority and service shall accumulate during the full term of such leave.

  • Full-Time Nurse A nurse who is hired on a permanent basis and who normally works seven (7) hours per day on a thirty-five (35) hour week, normally Monday to Friday unless specifically hired to work an alternate schedule.

  • Full-Time Public Duties The Employer shall grant, on written request, leave of absence without pay:

  • Full-time/Part-time Ratio So long as a full-time position exists there will be no splitting of that position into two or more part-time positions without the agreement of the Union, such agreement not to be unreasonably withheld.
