A Regular Full. Time Employee shall apply in writing to his/her Department Head indicating the reason for the requests including the hours and days of the week the employee wishes to share and with whom the employee contemplates the Job Sharing arrangement. A copy of this request shall be forwarded to the Director of Human Resources and the Union.

A Regular Full. Time Employee" is defined as a member of the unit who is assigned to work eight (8) hours a day, over a nine (9), ten (10), eleven (11), or twelve (12) month annual duty schedule.
A Regular Full time employee who is absent from work due to a death in the employee’s immediate family shall be eligible for the following: A. Father, mother, stepparents, spouse, sons, daughters, stepsons, stepdaughters, brothers, sisters, stepbrothers, stepsisters, grandmother, grandfather, the spouse’s mother, father, grandmother, and grandfather, shall be eligible for up to three (3) work days leave of absence with no loss in pay. B. Grandchildren, daughter-in-law, son-in-law, sister-in-law, brother-in-law of the employee and the spouse's brothers and sisters, shall be eligible for up to two (2) days off with no loss in pay to attend the funeral of same. C. Upon approval of the immediate supervisor based on need, an employee may use one (1) day of unused vacation, or one (1) day of unused compensatory time off, or unused personal holiday or take a day off without pay to attend the funeral of an aunt or uncle.
A Regular Full. Time Employee or Temporary Full‐Time Employee who is called out shall be paid double time without exception for the time actually worked plus one (1) hour's allowance for travelling to and from home, with a minimum of three (3) hours' pay at double time (the minimum includes one (1) hour for travelling time).
A Regular Full. Time Employee in a Job Sharing arrangement shall continue to maintain the status of a Regular Full‐Time Employee during the period of time covered by the Job Sharing arrangement and shall accumulate seniority in proportion to the scheduled hours compared to the full‐time hours of the position. A Regular Full. Time, Continuing Limited-Term (except Continuing Limited-Term who are on seasonal lay-off when the December/January holiday period occurs), and Temporary Full-Time Member required to work and notified of this requirement by their supervisor on one (1) of the paid holidays identified in Article 19.01, shall be paid twice (2x) their normal pay for all hours worked. Additionally, they shall be entitled to take equivalent time off with pay at a time agreeable to the University as compensation for not being permitted to observe the paid holiday on the normal date. When such agreement cannot be reached, they shall be paid one (1) day's pay or appropriate portion thereof in lieu of such day off. Holiday pay will be computed on the basis of seven (7), seven and one-half (7.5), or eight (8) hours, whichever is appropriate to the Member. For Members whose regular work schedule is other than seven (7), seven and one-half (7.5), or eight (8) hours, it is understood that such Members who do not work on a paid holiday, will receive eight (8) hours straight time pay. A Member who works on a paid holiday will receive two (2) times their normal rate for all hours worked plus an additional eight (8) hours statutory holiday pay.
A Regular Full time employee shall be defined as a person who is regularly scheduled for more than 24 hours per week and will therefore be referred to as an employee.

A Regular Full. Time Employee is an employee who is employed on a full-time ba- sis of 35, 371/2, 40 or such other number of weekly hours as is recognized in the Collective Agreement as normal for a particular class of positions, for an indefinite period of time.

The employee with whom it is contemplated the position shall be shared must be qualified to perform the duties and responsibilities of the position. Where an employee's request is approved and results in an acceptable job sharing arrangement, the Director of Human Resources shall provide each employee with a letter covering the terms and conditions of the Job Sharing arrangement signed by the Employer and Union (a sample copy is attached). Under normal circumstances, the regular daily and weekly hours of the position shall remain unchanged as a result ofthe Job Sharing arrangement unless otherwise varied by the terms and conditions as provided by the letter referred to in paragraph above.
