Final Summative Evaluation Conference. 18 1. By the end of May, the evaluator and teacher shall meet to discuss the 19 teacher’s final summative score. The final summative score, including the 20 student growth score, must be determined by an analysis of evidence. This 21 analysis will take a holistic assessment of the teacher’s performance over the 22 course of the year. 23 2. The teacher has the right to provide additional evidence for each criterion 24 to be scored. 25 3. If the evaluator assigns the teacher a final summative score below 26 Proficient, the evaluator must provide at least three (3) pieces of evidence 27 from at least two (2) artifacts for each criterion scored Basic or 28 Unsatisfactory. 29 4. The teacher will sign a copy of the Final Summative Evaluation Report. 30 Each teacher shall sign the observation and evaluations forms to indicate 31 receipt. The signature of the teacher does not, however, necessarily imply that 32 the employee agrees with its contents. The teacher may attach any written 33 comments or rebuttals to observation and to the final annual evaluation report 34 as well, at the summative conference. 35 5. Teachers shall have the right to attach additional comment or a rebuttal to 36 the Final Summative Evaluation.
