Fire Mechanic. Any Firefighter assigned as a Fire Mechanic shall receive pay of 5.5% of base salary. The parties agree that to the extent permitted by law, the compensation for Fire Mechanic pay is special compensation and shall be reported as such pursuant to Title 2 CCR, Section 571(a)(2) Mechanical Premium.

Fire Mechanic. Firefighter - when designated as Fire Mechanic Hourly Rate Effective July 1, 2007 July 1, 2008 July 1, 2009 First step $1.51 $1.55 $1.59 Second step $2.12 $2.17 $2.22 Third step $2.85 $2.92 $2.99 Fourth step $3.52 $3.61 $3.70 Fifth step $4.96 $5.08 $5.21 The step rates will become effective upon recommendation of the Chief of the Fire Department that the work was being satisfactorily performed by the person assigned to the job and the Mechanic would be eligible, if so recommended, on the anniversary date of first designation as Mechanic. The Chief of the Fire Department may, after due consideration of the performance of the firefighter assigned to the duties of Mechanic, recommend, and with the approval of the Town Manager, may authorize compensation at the next higher step rate before the anniversary date of the Mechanic's last step rate increment, but no such advancement to the next higher step shall be made before the firefighter has served at least three (3) months at his/her existing step rate. When either the Fire Alarm Superintendent or Mechanic is on a leave (for vacation, sickness, or injury), or away from Xxxxxx on official business approved by the Chief of the Fire Department, for a period not less than seven calendar days or for a period less than seven calendar days when the Chief determines that an acting fire alarm superintendent or acting mechanic is required by the needs of the service, the firefighter designated as acting Superintendent or Mechanic shall receive additional pay on the basis of the hourly rate established for the first step of the position involved; provided, that the person so acting by designation of the Chief shall, during such assignment, be available to report for duty in the event of an emergency within 3 hours.

  • SLEEPING CAPACITY/DISTURBANCES Tenant and all other occupants of the premises will be required to vacate the premises and forfeit the rental fee and security deposit for any of the following: Occupancy exceeding the sleeping capacity of the property, using the premises for any illegal activity, causing damage to the premises rented or to any of the neighboring properties and any other acts that interfere with neighbors' right to quiet enjoyment of their premises. HOLD HARMLESS None of iTrip Vacations, Sea Oats Vacation Property Management, Inc. or the owner of the premises assume risk, responsibility or any liability for, and the Tenant hereby releases, waives, relinquishes and discharges iTrip Vacations, Sea Oats Vacation Property Management, Inc., the owner of the premises and all directors, officers, employees, agents or other representatives of such parties from, any (i) loss, damage, illness, injury or exposure to COVID-19, other viruses or the flu to persons or their personal property that occurs during their stay on the premises; (ii) any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from any temporary defects or stoppage in supply of water, gas, cable service, internet service, electricity or plumbing or (iii) any inconveniences, damage, loss or injury arising from or due to weather conditions, insects, natural disasters, acts of God, or other reasons beyond their control. POOL & PATIO If the premises include a private or community pool (including hot tubs), then the Tenant hereby acknowledges that the premises they have reserved include a community pool and the undersigned agrees and acknowledges that the community pool and patio/deck can be dangerous areas, that the deck/patio can be slippery when wet, and that injury may occur to anyone who is not careful. With full knowledge of the above facts and warnings, the undersigned Tenant accepts and assumes all risks involved to Tenant and all of Tenant's guests in or related to the use of the private or community pool (including hot tubs) and patio areas.

  • STRIKES, LOCKOUTS AND PICKET LINES ‌ The Union agrees that during the life of this Agreement, the Union or its bargaining unit members will not authorize, instigate, aid or engage in any work stoppage, slowdown, sick-out, refusal to work, picketing or strike against the Employer and the Agency, its goods or on its property. The Agency agrees that during the life of this Agreement there will be no lockout.

  • Public Liability and Property Damage Insurance A. During the term of this Agreement, Contractor shall at all times maintain, at its expense, the following coverages and requirements. The comprehensive general liability insurance shall include broad form property damage insurance.

  • Public Liability Insurance which will provide indemnity against the insured parties legal liability in the event of accidental death of or injury to third party persons and/or accidental loss of or damage to third party property arising directly from the execution of the contract with a limit of indemnity of R 100 million in respect of all claims arising from any one occurrence or series of occurrences consequent on or attributable to one source or original cause. The policy will be subject to a Deductible of R25 000 for Property Damage claims only but R250 000 where Loss or Damage involves Aircraft.

  • PROHIBITION ON CONTRACTS WITH COMPANIES BOYCOTTING ISRAEL CERTIFICATION As required by Chapter 2271 of the Texas Local Government Code the Contractor must verify that it 1) does not boycott Israel; and 2) will not boycott Israel during the term of the Contract. Pursuant to Section 2271.001, Texas Government Code:

  • Transportation of Accident Victims Transportation to the nearest physician or hospital for employees requiring medical care as a result of an on-the-job accident shall be at the expense of the Employer.

  • Excess Public Liability Insurance over and above the Employers’ Liability Commercial General Liability and Comprehensive Automobile Liability Insurance coverage, with a minimum combined single limit of Twenty Million Dollars ($20,000,000) per occurrence/Twenty Million Dollars ($20,000,000) aggregate.
