First Level Grievances. Medical grievances are reviewed by one of MVP’s medical directors. Non-medical grievances are reviewed by a member of MVP’s administrative staff who has the necessary education and experience to resolve the matter. First level grievances are reviewed by persons who were not involved in making the initial decision and who are not subordinate to such persons.

  • Grievance Levels Level One. If not resolved on an informal discussion basis, the grievance shall be reduced to writing, outlining:

  • Group Grievance Where a number of employees have identical grievances and each employee would be entitled to grieve separately they may present a group grievance in writing signed by each employee who is grieving to the Administrator or her designate within ten (10) days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance have occurred or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employee(s). The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step No. 1 and the applicable provisions of this Article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance.
