Flexible Scheduling. A. Nurses shall have the ability to utilize flexible scheduling to meet the needs of the patient. Nurses may adjust their schedule to attend hospital meetings, clinics, patient/community teaching and other patient care needs that occur outside their regular shift time. For example, an eight (8) hour nurse who starts at 6:30 a.m. in order to attend a meeting shall end their shift at 3:00 p.m.
