Float Pool Premium. To help meet the needs of the organization 5 for staffing, HRMC will continue to post positions for a float pool under the RN job 6 description. Positions may be posted as Full Time, Part Time, and PRN based on 7 identified staffing needs. Float positions will be filled under the posting procedures of 8 Article 6, Section 4 by nurses with appropriate training, competency and ability to work 9 in multiple units (as per Float Pool Guidelines # PCS 217) to allow needed staffing 10 flexibility to accommodate patient census fluctuations. The hospital determines the 11 number of Float Pool RN positions, when to post positions and the FTE equivalent 12 hours sufficient to meet changing needs of hospital.
