Float Pool Premium. To help meet the needs of the organization 27 for staffing, the Hospital will continue to post positions for a float pool under the RN job 28 description. Positions may be posted as Full Time, Part Time, and PRN based on 29 identified staffing needs. Float positions will be filled under the posting procedures of 30 Article 6, Section 4 by nurses with appropriate training, competency and ability to work 31 in multiple units (as per Float Pool Guidelines # PCS 217) to allow needed staffing 32 flexibility to accommodate patient census fluctuations. The hospital determines the 1 number of Float Pool RN positions, when to post positions and the FTE equivalent 2 hours sufficient to meet changing needs of hospital.
