FOLLOW-UP ASSESSMENT. 1. An employee on modified duty will be evaluated regularly by the EHS to determine how the employee’s recovery is progressing. If such evaluations are done by a provider outside the EHS, the employee will provide the EHS with the results of the evaluation. If the employee’s functional capacity improves and the employee is able to perform additional duties, the employee’s physician will be consulted, and the supervisor of the modified duty assignment will be notified both verbally and in writing.
