Common use of Frequency of Observations Clause in Contracts

Frequency of Observations. 1. Before the Board initiates a contract termination of a non-OTES bargaining unit member for unsatisfactory performance, the bargaining unit member will have been observed in a classroom setting or equivalent setting a minimum of three times in three different months. 2. No more than four observations during a semester will be conducted. However, the individual bargaining unit member and the evaluator mutually may agree upon additional observations.
