Full-time Union Representatives GSA Vehicles Use. Full-time Union representatives will be allowed to use GSA vehicles for representational duties only, where they are supporting BU employees. (This means no personal business of any kind, which should be defined in use of vehicle – see GSA regs/rules, or internal union business (e.g., a union election)). GSA car priority will always go to patient care services and Service Unit executive staff need. Union representatives must adhere to the local GSA vehicle priority scheme at their work location. This means that even if they pre-schedule use of a GSA vehicle in advance, they might get bumped by a higher priority need to use the vehicle for a patient care purpose, or for a senior executive to travel. This would require the union representative to reschedule his or her trip. Union representatives must return any GSA vehicle they sign for on the same day; they cannot keep it out overnight. Cars cannot be taken to any facility that would be too far to drive to and return from in one day. Therefore, union representatives must plan accordingly for trips they want to make. How far the full time representatives can go in a GSA vehicle will depend on the time and distances involved. Union Representatives must abide by all rules and regulations that apply to Federal users of GSA vehicles.

  • UNION REPRESENTATIVE'S VISITS 30.01 Duly authorized full-time representatives of the Union shall be entitled to visit the Co-operative for the purpose of observing working conditions, interviewing members and unsigned employees and to ensure that the terms of the Collective Agreement are being implemented. 30.02 The interview of an employee by a Union Representative shall be permitted, after notifying the General Manager or their designated representative, and shall be: (a) carried on in a place within the Co-operative's premises designated by management; (b) held whenever possible during the lunch period; however, if this is not practical; (c) held during the regular working hours; time taken for such interview in excess of five (5) minutes shall not be on Co-operative time unless with the approval of management; (d) held at such times as will not interfere with service to the public.

  • Union Representative Visits The Union shall inform the Employer in advance whenever the designated representatives of the Union intend to visit the Employer’s premises for the purpose of conducting Union business. Such visits shall not interfere with the normal operations of the worksite. Reasonable accommodation will be made to allow the Presidents of the Unions to have access to union members to conduct union business.

Part C: Institutional Strengthening and Sensitization to Environmental Issues and IPA Methodology 1. Strengthening the capacity of institutions involved in implementation of the Project at the national, regional and local levels including RCADs and ADGs through the provision of logistical support, technical advisory services and adequate training programs. 2. Strengthening the CCU’s capacity to manage the Project efficiently including ensuring adequate monitoring and evaluation, and compliance with all safeguard measures related to implementation of the environment and social protection framework. 3.
