Game Assignments. This Agreement does not obligate the Conference to make any game assignments to the Contractor, nor does it obligate the Conference to make a minimum number or certain quality-level game assignments to the Contractor. This Agreement does obligate the Contractor to attend such clinics and pass such qualifying tests and examinations, including a physical by a medical doctor, as required by the Conference. Game assignments by the Conference may include pre-season, in- season and post-season scrimmages and games. The Contractor may accept or decline any game assignment when offered by the Conference. All game assignments are subject to change in the sole discretion of the Conference, and game assignments may be changed or canceled by the Conference. The Contractor may revoke his or her acceptance of an assignment no later than ninety-six (96) hours prior to the original posted game time, except for an illness, family or business emergency.

Game Assignments. A game assignment constitutes a delegation and assignment to you of PIHO’s contractual duty to provide ice hockey officiating services to its clients. By accepting a game assignment and undertaking a game assignment, you agree to accept the duty of appearing at and providing ice hockey officiating services for that particular game or games. The Director of Scheduling will provide you with proposed individual game assignments offered to you by PIHO, as well as the process for accepting or rejecting those proposed assignments. As an independent contractor, you retain control over which proposed game assignments you chose to accept and which proposed assignments you choose to decline. Thus, you have the right under this Contract to decline any game or games to which you are assigned by PIHO. In its discretion, PIHO may require you to identify in writing which proposed assignments you have accepted and which ones you have rejected, and if you have rejected an assignment, the reason(s) why. You may not assign, delegate, or transfer your game assignments to any other person or entity without the express written consent of PIHO. In the event you wish to turn back an assignment after accepting it, you must provide written notification to PIHO as soon as possible, along with a reason for the turnback request. Any or all of the game assignments that you accept are also subject to immediate amendment, modification, or cancellation upon oral or written notice to you by PIHO when PIHO determines, in its sole and exclusive discretion, that such is in the best interest of PIHO and/or its clients, or if you fail to perform fully all requirements of this Contract. PIHO reserves the right, in its sole discretion, for any reason or no reason, to discontinue providing, or refuse to provide, you with any game assignment offers.
Game Assignments. Upon acceptance of an assignment, it is that Official’s responsibility to work the game(s). In the event the Official cannot work the game, it will be his/her responsibility to find a replacement. The replacement MUST be approved by a scheduler.   • Shift Assignments When an opening occurs in a shift assignment in an appropriate work group at a location, preference shall be given to employees within the classification who possess the training, ability and any required special qualifications to perform the work required, on the basis of seniority. In the event that no employee desires a shift assignment, employees shall be selected in order of inverse seniority. This provision shall not apply to necessary training assignments. This provision shall not in itself alter the practice of rotating shifts where such practice presently exists. No employee who has a regular shift assignment on the effective date of the Agreement shall be involuntarily displaced from such shift assignment as a result of this Article.

  • Overtime Assignments When needed, overtime work for full-time employees shall be scheduled among qualified employees doing similar work in the work location where the employees regularly work in accordance with the following:

  • Relief Assignments 3.1 All possible regular relief assignments with five days work per week and two consecutive rest days (subject to Rule 2) shall be established to perform necessary relief work or to perform relief work on certain days and such types of other work on other days as may be assigned under this Agreement.

  • Room Assignments A. The University draws students from many states, nations, races and religions. It will be the responsibility of each resident to respect the rights of all residents in university residence halls. Admission to Texas A&M University – Texarkana and any of its sponsored programs is open to qualified individuals regardless of race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, national origin, or disability. Room and roommate assignments are made without regard to race, color, religion, sexual orientation, disability, or national origin.

  • Work Assignments Section 1. The Company shall determine whether to staff a position or fill a vacancy and the method or combination of methods it shall use for such purposes. In making this determination, the Company shall first give consideration to qualified laid off employees with applications on file in accordance with Article 14 Section 7 of this Agreement and then internal candidates prior to off-street applicants. All vacancies within the Bargaining Unit shall be posted (manually or electronically) in locations where Bargaining Unit employees regularly work. The posting shall include the title, wage range, and sufficient information regarding requirements and duties to adequately describe the vacancy. The vacancy shall remain posted for seven (7) calendar days which shall be spread between two (2) workweeks.

  • Summer Assignments Employees who worked less than a 12-month schedule at the 10 time of their work-related accident will not be guaranteed summer employment while 11 participating in the Alternate Duty Program.

  • Employee Assignments A. All teachers will be given written notice of their salary schedule and building assignment for the forthcoming year as soon as possible after budget enactment. All teachers will be given notice of their class and/or subject assignments, responsibility assignments and room assignments for the forthcoming year and not later than July 31. In the event that changes in such schedules, class and/or subject assignments, responsibility assignments or room assignments are proposed after the above dates, all affected teachers will be notified promptly in writing and, upon request of the employee, the changes will be promptly reviewed between the Superintendent or the Superintendent's representative and the teacher.

  • Teacher Assignments 6.10.1 Non-probationary teachers will be given the opportunity to indicate in writing their preference as to subject and grade assignment for the next school year. A teacher who desires a change of assignment within a school shall submit a Preference Form to the School Director. The preference will be considered when making assignments.

  • Other Assignments Except as otherwise expressly provided in this Agreement, the provisions of this Agreement shall inure to the benefit of and be binding upon, the successors and permitted assigns of the parties. Neither party shall assign or transfer its rights or obligations under this Agreement without the prior written consent of the other party, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.

  • Training Assignments The Supervisor or designee may establish written training assignments to enable an employee to gain the additional experience and training required for the job for a period of time not to exceed two years. At the completion of the training assignment, the employee’s pay will be set no less than the entry rate of pay for the occupational pay band.
