General Grievance Policy Dispute. If a difference of a general nature arises between the Union or its members and the Employer concerning the interpretation, application, operation or alleged violation of this Agreement or Memoranda, the aggrieved party may submit a written grievance to the other party within twenty-one (21) calendar days of becoming aware of the matter giving rise to the difference, and Step 3 of Article 9 shall apply. A copy of the grievance shall in every case be forwarded to the Union.

  • Policy Disputes Any dispute concerning the interpretation of the terms, conditions, limitations and/or exclusions contained herein is understood and agreed by both You and Us to be adjudicated or interpreted in accordance with Indian law and only competent Courts of India shall have the exclusive jurisdiction to try all or any matters arising hereunder. The matter shall be determined or adjudicated in accordance with the law and practice of such Court.

  • Grievance Policy The Board recognizes that in the interest of effective personnel management, a grievance procedure is necessary whereby its professional staff members can be assured of a prompt, impartial, and fair hearing on their grievances.   • Labour Disputes 15.01 If employees are prevented from performing their duties because of a strike or lock-out on the premises of another employer, the employees shall report the matter to the Employer, and the Employer will make reasonable efforts to ensure that such employees are employed elsewhere, so that they shall receive their regular pay and benefits to which they would normally be entitled.

  • Group Grievance Where a number of employees have identical grievances and each employee would be entitled to grieve separately they may present a group grievance in writing signed by each employee who is grieving to the Administrator or her designate within ten (10) days after the circumstances giving rise to the grievance have occurred or ought reasonably to have come to the attention of the employee(s). The grievance shall then be treated as being initiated at Step No. 1 and the applicable provisions of this Article shall then apply with respect to the processing of such grievance.

A meeting will be held between the parties within ten (10) days. The Union shall reply within ten (10) days after the meeting, and failing settlement, the matter may be referred to arbitration.
