General (Statutory) Holidays. 9.2.1 The following days are recognized as General (Statutory) Holidays: New Year’s Day Labour Day Good Friday Thanksgiving Day Easter Monday Remembrance Day Victoria Day Christmas Day Canada Day Boxing Day British Columbia Day and any other day declared as such by the Federal or Provincial Government. 9.2.2 An employee is entitled to be paid for such days pursuant to 7.8.
