Hourly Premium Clause Samples

The Hourly Premium clause establishes an additional payment rate for hours worked beyond a standard schedule or under specific conditions, such as overtime or night shifts. Typically, this clause specifies the percentage or fixed amount added to the base hourly wage when employees work during designated premium periods. Its core practical function is to compensate employees for work that is considered more demanding or less desirable, thereby incentivizing flexibility and ensuring fair remuneration for non-standard work hours.
