Grievance Defined A grievance is a claim based upon the interpretation, meaning, or violation of any of the express provisions of this Agreement, or a claim arising as the result of disciplinary action. Any grievance shall contain specific reference to the provision(s) of the Agreement allegedly violated, or to the specific disciplinary action. It is not intended that the Grievance Procedure be used to affect changes or modify this Agreement. A Grievance may be initiated by the Union or an aggrieved bargaining unit member.
