Common use of Guard Duty Leave of Absence Clause in Contracts

Guard Duty Leave of Absence. An employee who is a member of the National Guard or Reserves who is called for defense training shall be entitled to a leave of absence for whatever is the annual active duty training period. During this leave, and upon presentation of documentation of their gross wages with the Reserves, they may receive pay for the difference between their regular gross pay, such pay not to exceed two (2) calendar weeks.
