Head Count Pay. Where classes are taught by independent study, the faculty member shall be paid a base amount that is one-sixth (1/6) of the associate Step A FCU Rate and an additional one- eighteenth (1/18) of the associate Step A FCE Rate per enrolled student, provided that such calculations shall not exceed the amount derived from the Associate Faculty Salary Schedule Faculty Compensation Rate. Headcount Formula: Example*: MATH 224, 55 lecture, 55/11 = 5 FCU’s An independent study course for MATH 224 with only 3 students would be paid $1,200 total based on receiving the base amount of $600 ($3,600/6) and an additional $200 for each of the 3 students ($3,600/18 = $200) *See Appendix A for updated rates of pay.

  • Shift Pay Each full-time employee scheduled to work on any shift commencing after 9:00 a.m. shall be paid a shift premium of seventy- five cents ($0.75) per hour for all hours worked by him/her on that shift and overtime hours worked in continuity with such shift. Shift premiums payable under this provision shall not be included as part of the employee’s regular pay for purposes of computing overtime pay.

  • Amount Payable The Subscriber will provide the funds required to purchase the Purchased Units (the “Purchase Price”) by no later than 10:00 a.m. on each Closing Date (as defined below) by certified cheque payable to the Partnership to be held in trust by the General Partner, and released in order to be applied to the purchase hereof. The Subscriber hereby instructs the General Partner to deal with the Purchase Price on the terms set forth herein.

  • Vacation Accrual Rates Laid off employees who are re-employed shall have the vacation accrual rate they held immediately prior to layoff restored.

  • Maximum Amount Payable The maximum amount payable under this contract without modification is shown in Attachment E, Fee Schedule.   • Call-Out Pay An employee who has already left the premises of the Company after completion of his scheduled shift, and who is recalled for work, shall be paid double his regular straight time hourly rate for all hours worked on recall up to the starting time of his scheduled shift but, in any event, he shall be paid for not less than two (2) hours at double his regular straight time hourly rate.

  • Reallocation to a Class with a Lower Salary Range Maximum 1. If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position and chooses to remain in the reallocated position, the employee retains existing appointment status and has the right to be placed on the Employer’s internal layoff list for the classification occupied prior to the reallocation.

  • Maximum Vacation Accrual Employees may accrue vacation up to a maximum of two hundred forty (240) hours. An employee who has reached the maximum accrual level may continue to accrue vacation until his or her next anniversary date, at which time any vacation accrued in addition to the two hundred forty (240) hour maximum accrual will be extinguished. With the written approval of the appropriate Vice President, an employee may accrue more than two hundred forty (240) hours of vacation when he or she is precluded from taking a previously scheduled vacation because of University needs. Any such written approval will specify a timeline for the employee to use any excess vacation accrual, after which any excess vacation accrual will be extinguished.

  • Borrowing of Unearned Vacation Credits With the approval of the Employer, an Employee who has been employed for a period of five (5) or more years may be granted five (5) days from the vacation leave of the next subsequent year.

  • Shift Differential Pay A. An employee shall receive additional compensation at the rate of seventy five cents (75¢) per hour for all hours worked on a shift when the majority of hours worked on the shift are between 5:30 p.m. and 7:30 a.m. and in locations where these classes are regularly assigned shift work.
