HEALTH, SAFETY AND HOUSING STANDARDS. Vendors and Facilities shall comply with all national and local laws and regulations of the country where the merchandise is produced that are related to the health and safety of workers. In addition, the following may be mandated by local laws, requiring full compliance by Vendor and Facilities. If not mandated by local laws, Vendor and Facilities are strongly encouraged to adopt the following as “Above and Beyond Goals” and as part of their management practices:

  • SAFETY AND HEALTH 20.1 The Employer, employee and Union have a significant responsibility for workplace safety and health.

Neither the Borrower nor any Subsidiary has received any notice to the effect that any part of its operations or properties is not in material compliance with any such law, rule, regulation or order or notice that it or its property is the subject of any governmental investigation evaluating whether any remedial action is needed to respond to any release of any toxic or hazardous waste or substance into the environment, the consequences of which non-compliance or remedial action could constitute an Adverse Event.

  • National Housing Act Subject to the terms and provisions of the Servicing Agreement referred to above, the Mortgage Loans hereby assigned will be administered and serviced by the Bank, as agent of Assignee, in accordance with the National Housing Act (Canada) and National Housing Regulations (Canada).
