Common use of Health, Safety and Welfare Clause in Contracts

Health, Safety and Welfare. The Governing Authority recognizes: a. The authority of public health and safety officials to inspect the facilities of the School and to order the facilities closed if those officials f ind that the facilities are not in compliance with health and safety laws and regulations; b. The authority of the Sponsor to suspend the operation of the School under ORC Section 3314.072, subject to the notice and due process requirements of that Section, if the Sponsor has evidence of conditions or violations of law at the School that pose an imminent danger to the health and safety of the School’s students and employees; and c. The authority of ODE to suspend the operation of the School under ORC Section 3314.072 if the Sponsor fails to take such action.
