Hiring of Other Party’s Employees. Neither Party may directly solicit an employee of the other Party for employment. Should an employee of one Party (herein this Section 8.2 referred to as “Party A”) apply for employment with the other Party (herein “Party B”), then Party B shall not begin paid employment of said employee until at least 2 weeks after said employee has given notice to Party A of his intention to end his employment with Party A.

It shall not be considered a breach of this Section for either party to make employment solicitations to the general public or groups that may include employees of the other party. Nor shall it be considered a breach of this Section for either party to respond to, act upon, or accept inquiries and applications resulting from, or make offers of employment resulting from, (i) such solicitations to the general public or groups or (ii) unsolicited employment inquiries or applications.

  • Hiring of Employees Company and Shareholders shall cooperate with all requests made by Pentegra for the purpose of allowing Pentegra to hire those non-dentist employees of Company designated by Pentegra, such employment to be effective as of the Closing Date. Notwithstanding the above, Company and Shareholders shall remain liable under any Company Plans for any claims incurred by any employees or their spouses or dependents, and for all compensation, bonuses, benefits and other such items and other liabilities related to Company's employees incurred by Company prior to the Closing Date.

  • Excluded Employees Employees excluded from the bargaining unit who work for an Employer signatory to this Agreement may participate in any of the foregoing benefits under rules and regulations established by the Trustees.   • Notification of Employees A. Written notice of layoff shall be given to an employee or sent by mail to the last known mailing address at least fourteen (14) calendar days prior to the effective date of the layoff.   • Compliance with Contractor Employee Jury Service Ordinance Contractor shall comply with the County Ordinance with respect to provision of jury duty pay to employees and have and adhere to a written policy that provides that its employees shall receive from the Contractor, on an annual basis, no less than five days of regular pay for actual jury service in San Mateo County. The policy may provide that employees deposit any fees received for such jury service with the Contractor or that the Contractor deduct from the employees’ regular pay the fees received for jury service.

  • Rehired Employees Amounts forfeited upon termination of employment because of the failure to meet the applicable vesting requirements shall not be reinstated or re-credited if an individual is subsequently rehired or re-employed by the School Corporation. However, if the board shall have approved a leave of absence of not more than one (1) fiscal year for an employee, such period of leave shall not result in forfeiture provided the employee shall promptly return to employment following the expiration of the period of leave.

  • Newly Hired Employees All employees hired to an insurance eligible position must make their benefit elections by their initial effective date of coverage as defined in this Article, Section 5C. Insurance eligible employees will automatically be enrolled in basic life coverage. If employees eligible for a full Employer Contribution do not choose a health plan administrator and a primary care clinic by their initial effective date, and do not waive medical coverage, they will be enrolled in a Benefit Level Two clinic (or Level One, if available) that meets established access standards in the health plan with the largest number of Benefit Level One and Two clinics in the county of the employee’s residence at the beginning of the insurance year. If an employee does not choose a health plan administrator and primary care clinic by their initial effective date, but was previously covered as a dependent immediately prior to their initial effective date, they will be defaulted to the plan administrator and primary care clinic in which they were previously enrolled.

  • Termination of Employees Agent may in its discretion stop using any Retained Employee at any time during the Sale, subject to the conditions provided for herein. In the event that Agent desires to cease using any Retained Employee, Agent shall notify Merchant at least seven (7) days prior thereto, so that Merchant may coordinate the termination of such employee; provided, however, that, in the event that Agent determines to cease using an employee “for cause” (which shall consist of dishonesty, fraud or breach of employee duties), the seven (7) day notice period shall not apply, provided further, however, that Agent shall immediately notify Merchant of the basis for such “cause” so that Merchant can arrange for termination of such employee. From and after the date of this Agreement and until the Sale Termination Date, Merchant shall not transfer or dismiss Retained Employees except “for cause” without Agent’s prior consent. Notwithstanding the foregoing, Agent shall not have the right to terminate the actual employment of any Retained Employee, but rather may only cease using such employee in the Sale and paying any Expenses with respect to such employee.
