Common use of Holiday Observance Clause in Contracts

Holiday Observance. Unless Saturday or Sunday are regularly scheduled work days in the employee’s plant or department, holidays that fall on a Saturday will be observed on the preceding Friday, and holidays that fall on a Sunday will be observed on the following Monday.
