Twenty-Four Hour Operations. Employees who report to work on shifts which begin in one calendar date and end in the next shall be compensated for the entire shift for the date the shift begins. Shifts shall not be scheduled to include split shifts, except in temporary emergency situations. A minimum of eight (8) hours of rest will be provided between the end of one shift and the beginning of a new shift.

Twenty-Four Hour Operations. 13 In twenty-four (24) hour operations, nine (9) specific holiday dates cited 14 in Section 1.A. holidays shall be observed on the dates listed and employees shall be 15 paid for the holiday day for which the majority of hours are worked.
