Common use of HOLIDAY PROVISIONS Clause in Contracts

HOLIDAY PROVISIONS. A) The paid holidays are designated as New Year's Day, Good Friday, Memorial Day, Fourth of July (if regularly employed), Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Friday following Thanksgiving Day, day before Christmas, Christmas Day, and the day before New Year's Day respectively. Employees will be paid their current rate based upon their regular work day for said holidays. In the event a holiday falls on a non-work day, employees will be paid their current rate based upon their weekly regularly scheduled work days divided by five (5). B) Should a holiday fall on Saturday, Friday shall be considered as the holiday.
