Seniority Standing. ‌ 12.1.1. Each employee shall have seniority standing equal to such employee’s continuous length of service with this employer in the entry level Civil Service classification of Corrections Deputy. 12.1.2. Seniority shall be terminated by separation from County employment whether by discharge or resignation. Seniority shall be adjusted by the duration of absence in cases of Employer granted leave of absence; however, the Employer, at the Employer’s sole discretion, may grant continuance of seniority in the case of leave of absence for educational purposes. An Employer granted leave of absence due to illness and/or disability shall not result in an adjustment of the employee’s seniority date.
Seniority Standing. 7.1.1 Each employee shall have seniority standing equal to such employee’s continuous length of service within the Juvenile Court in a classification within the bargaining unit as reflected in Appendix A. 7.1.2 Seniority shall be terminated by separation from Juvenile Court service, except in the case of a reduction in force provided that the reduction in force does not exceed eighteen (18) months or as provided for in Section 14.1.1. 7.1.3 Upon transfer to another Employer department accrued and unused sick leave, vacation leave, and floating holiday may be transferred to said department.

For purposes of accumulation of benefits, such as vacation or other prorated benefits the employee’s original date of hire shall control. A seniority list shall be attached to this agreement as Appendix A, such list shall illustrate the original date of hire and the date of rank for each employee.
Seniority Standing. ‌ 13.1.1. Unless otherwise required by law, the seniority of an employee shall be defined as the length of continuous service within the District. District seniority will be the standard applied for all seniority applications unless expressly modified by the terms and conditions of this agreement or applicable state/federal law. A seniority list shall be attached to this agreement as an appendix. a) District seniority shall not be adjusted for authorized medical leaves of absence or any other leaves of absences provided for by State or Federal law, for use of accrued leaves, or during any period of time an employee is not working as part of their normal work schedule with the District. b) An employee’s District seniority date shall be adjusted for time absent during a layoff, for non-medical related leave of absence or for leave of absences not provided for under State or Federal law.

Seniority Standing. Full-time employee’s seniority standing shall be granted to all public employees who work 30 hours per week or more who are eligible to be covered under this Agreement as defined in the Recognition Clause. The standing is to be based on the total length of employment for the District and shall revert back to the first date of employment upon completion of a 180 working day probationary period. All full-time employees, for purposes of seniority, shall have been considered to work 2080 hours in a calendar year. Part-time employees - A separate seniority list shall be kept and maintained for part-time employees. All such employees working 14 hours per week and less than 30 hours per week and more than 67 working days in any calendar year, and who otherwise qualify as a “public employee” within the meaning of the P.E.L.R.A., as amended, and who have completed a 90 working day probationary period shall be granted seniority on a calendar year basis retroactive to their first date of hire by the District.

Seniority Standing. Seniority standing shall be granted to an Employee who has completed six (6) months 1,040 compensable work hours, exclusive of overtime) of employment with the Employer. The seniority date shall related back to the initial date of employment once the Employee has completed the probationary period.
Seniority Standing. RULE 8.1 Complete lists of all Maintenance of Way employees covered by this agreement, showing their seniority standing in their respective classifications, and dates of promotion, shall be prepared at the beginning of each year, a copy of which shall be furnished to representatives of the employees, and a copy of the list posted at headquarters of each gang. All lists shall be open for correction on proper representation within six (6) months from date of issue. RULE 8.2 A new employee shall not be regarded as permanently employed until after ninety (90) working days, and within such period may, without investigation, be removed for cause which in the opinion of the Railway renders him undesirable for its service. If retained, his seniority in the Maintenance of Way Department shall commence from the date on which he first entered service in a classification coming within the scope of this agreement.
