Common use of Holidays for a Reason of Faith Clause in Contracts

Holidays for a Reason of Faith. or Conscience Leave without pay will be granted for holidays of faith or conscience or an organized activity conducted under the auspices of a religious denomination, church or religious organization for up to two (2) days per calendar year provided the employee’s absence will not impose an undue hardship on the Employer as defined by WAC 00-00-000 or the employee is not necessary to maintain public safety. This leave is in accordance with RCW 1.16.050 and as provided below:
