Common use of Holidays on Saturday or Sunday Clause in Contracts

Holidays on Saturday or Sunday. Except during the week of Christmas, when a holiday falls on Saturday, the preceding work day, not a holiday, shall be deemed to be that holiday. When a holiday falls on a Sunday, the following work day, not a holiday, shall be deemed to be that holiday. During the week of Christmas, and in accordance with Section B below, holidays falling on a weekend will be used during the Christmas week so that the office may close.
