Identification of Eligible Authors and workflow. 3.1 BMJ will identify approved Eligible Articles that have been submitted by Eligible Authors and will indicate the availability of this Agreement to Eligible Authors via BMJ’s website (currently available xxxxx://xxxxxxx.xxx.xxx/open- access/institutional-programme/, as may be updated or modified from time to time), where Eligible Authors will find information on each Consortia Member’s entitlements as part of this Agreement.

Identification of Eligible Authors and workflow. A. OPG will clearly indicate the availability and terms and provisions for Open Access publishing to Eligible Authors, both within its author-facing submission and publication workflows and on its website. B. The Members agree to inform Xxxxxxxx Authors that this Agreement is in place (e.g. by promoting the agreement on their website or by other means) and that their Eligible Articles can be made Open Access on acceptance in the Eligible Journals. C. OPG will identify Eligible Authors through at least one of the following parameters: i. Members’ e-mail domains; ii. Persistent identifiers, such as ORCID or other recognized Institutional identifiers as provided by the Eligible Author; iii. Affiliation as asserted by the Eligible Author during the submission/publication process or in the article manuscript. D. Upon acceptance of Eligible Articles by Eligible Authors for publication, OPG shall send an email notification to the relevant Member to confirm if the author is a Verified Author. The request shall provide the following details: i. Name and email address of the Eligible Author ii. Full name of Author’s affiliation(s) iii. Date of acceptance

BMJ will identify approved Eligible Articles that have been submitted by Eligible Authors and will indicate the availability of this Agreement to Eligible Authors via BMJ’s website (currently available xxxxx://xxxxxxx.xxx.xxx/open- access/institutional-programme/, as may be updated or modified from time to time), where Eligible Authors will find information on each Consortia Member’s entitlements as part of this Agreement. 3.2. Eligible Authors may opt-out of publishing their submitted manuscript as an Open Access Article and in such cases, BMJ is not required to seek the approval of the Consortia Member. 3.3. In the event that an Eligible Author is not identified on acceptance and their submitted manuscript is discovered to have been published as a non-Open Access Article (and, but for the lack of agreement to publish as an Open Access Article, that submitted manuscript would have been an Eligible Article), then BMJ will contact any affected Eligible Author and offer them the opportunity to convert their published non-Open Access Article into an Open Access Article. If the affected Eligible Author opts to convert their non-Open Access Article into an Open Access Article then BMJ will deduct the amount of the APC for that title (at the applicable journal’s rate) from the relevant APC Fund as appropriate. 3.4. In the event that an Eligible Author is not identified on acceptance and their Eligible Article is discovered to have been published as an Open Access Article (for which an APC was paid without reference to the APC Fund), then, subject to availability under the APC Fund, BMJ will contact the Eligible Author and offer to refund the APC already paid and instead deduct the amount of the APC paid from the relevant APC Fund as appropriate. 3.5. An Eligible Author shall be identified through their Consortia Member group Ringgold identifier. The Subscriber and each Consortia Member shall provide to BMJ all requested billing and user account details, lists of valid Ringgold identifiers and email domains, for the purpose of setting up each Consortia Member’s profile within the CCC Open Access Agreement Manager Tool. BMJ shall have no liability to any Consortia Member or Eligible Author to reimburse any APC paid in error by an Eligible Author if the Consortia Member to whom the Eligible Author is affiliated has failed to provide the necessary details to BMJ in accordance with this clause 3.5. 3.6.   • Identification Cards Identification (“ID”) cards are issued by Us for identification purposes only. Possession of any ID card confers no right to services or benefits under this Contract.   • Identification When performing work on District property, Contractor shall be in appropriate work attire (or uniform, if applicable) at all times. If Contractor does not have a specific uniform, then Contractor shall provide identification tags and/or any other mechanism the District in its sole discretion determines is required to easily identify Contractor. Contractor and its employees shall (i) display on their clothes the above-mentioned identifying information and (ii) carry photo identification and present it to any District personnel upon request. If Contractor cannot produce such identification or if the identification is unacceptable to District, District may provide at its sole discretion, District-produced identification tags to Contractor, costs to be borne by Contractor.
