Common use of Illness in the Family Clause in Contracts

Illness in the Family. In case of illness of an immediate member of the family of an employee where no one, other than the employee can provide for the family member’s needs, the employee shall be entitled, after notifying the employee’s superior, to use a maximum of five (5) accumulated sick leave days per year for this purpose.

Illness in the Family. In case of illness of an immediate member of the family of an employee where no oneone is at home, other than the employee employee, can provide for the family member’s needsneeds of the ill person, the employee shall be entitled, after notifying the employee’s his superior, to use a maximum of five ten (510) accumulated sick leave days per year for this purpose.

In case of illness of an immediate member of the family of an a regular employee where no one, one at home other than the regular employee can provide for the family member’s needsneeds of the ill person, the regular employee shall be entitled, after notifying the employee’s superiorhis or her supervisor, to use a maximum of five (5) accumulated sick leave days per year for this purpose.

In case of Where no one, other than the Employee, can provide for the needs during illness of an immediate member of the family of Employee’s family, an employee where no one, other than the employee can provide for the family member’s needs, the employee shall Employee may be entitled, after notifying the employee’s superiorhis/her Employer, to use a maximum of five eight (5) 8) accumulated sick leave days per year illness for this purpose, based on operational needs. The Employee must provide documented proof of the illness of the family member, if requested by the Employer, and illness exceeds three (3) working days.
