Allowance for Tools. The Employer shall supply all tools and equipment required by employees in the performance of their duties. Replacement will be made by producing the worn or broken tool or equipment or proving that the tool or equipment was lost.
Allowance for Tools. (a) Where determined by the Employer that Journeymen be required to have their own tools as a condition of employment, the Employer shall pay a tool allowance at the rate of twenty-five cents ($0.25) per straight time hour paid for the purchase of new tools and equipment owned by the employees and used in the performance of their duties.
(b) The Employer shall provide funding for replacement of tools that are worn out, broken or stolen. Replacement will be made by producing the worn or broken tools, or proving the tool was stolen. Replacement shall be with tools of equal quality. NOTE: Journeymen are solely responsible for providing up-to date tool inventory. Management to determine which Journeymen require their own tools.

An Employee using tools owned by the Employee will provide the Employer with a current list of such tools and in such a case the Employer will replace any broken, worn, lost or stolen hand tools upon satisfactory explanation.

Employees are responsible for the proper use and reasonable security of tools and equipment provided for their use. Tools and equipment are to be kept at the Employer's premises and available for inspection at all times. Worn or broken tools are to be returned to the Employer for replacement.
Allowance for Tools. Employees required to furnish their own tools in the performance of their duties shall, upon proving the tool was broken as a result of their duties, have the same replaced by one of equal quality and value by the Employer.

Allowance for Tools. The Employer may, at his discretion, supply any mechanical tools that may be required by mechanics in the performance of their duties. The Employer will accept to replace any mechanical tool owned by a mechanic with one of equal value upon satisfactory evidence that such tool was broken while performing employment responsibilities or modified for the purpose of performing employment related duties. In addition to the foregoing, an employee classified as a mechanic shall be paid an annual allowance of $250.00 for the purpose of purchasing mechanical tools and assisting with the maintaining of an adequate inventory of such tools.

Replacement will be made by producing the worn or broken tool. When special tools are required for the work of the Employer (including specialty hand tools) the Employer shall provide these tools.
