Common use of Immediate Family Clause in Contracts

Immediate Family. As used in this Agreement, "immediate family" shall mean the employee's spouse, children, mother, father, mother-in-law, father- in-law, brothers or sisters, brother-in-law, sister-in-law, son-in-law, daughter-in-law step father, step mother, step brother and sister, step children, grandparents, grandchildren and step-grandparents. It also includes other family members who reside permanently with the employee, and any person for whom the employee has been appointed as legal guardian.
