As development occurs and the residential population grows, so would the need for these important services. Accessibility to public services such as fire, police, and hospitals would improve considerably with the 24-hour access provided by a bridge. It would be easier for residents of Xxxxxxx Island to travel to Revillagigedo Island for necessary medical services, and it would be easier for emergency personnel to travel to Xxxxxxx Island—this is especially important for emergencies that occur after ferry operating hours or during times of severe weather.
