This means that when you apply to open an Account (as an individual or joint owner) or when you are added as a joint owner to an existing Account, we will ask for your name, address, date of birth, Social Security Number or Individual Taxpayer Identification Number, and other information that will allow us to identify you. We may also ask for a copy of your driver’s license or other identifying documents. You authorize us and our agents and service providers to use the information you provide at the time of Account opening to verify your identity or confirm information about you.

If your bank should fail to honor payment to us, you agree to pay our returned funds fee of up to $30.00 (“Returned Payment Fee”). In addition, if your payment is dishonored or your account becomes delinquent, we may require immediate and full payment of all outstanding amounts, as well as the return of your Shell Aviation cards. We are entitled to offset any amounts you may owe us against any claims we have against you.

To facilitate compliance with this law, you may be requested to provide information to confirm your identity or the transaction. The completion of a CTR in itself does not indicate any wrongdoing; however, any attempt to avoid or circumvent the reporting requirements is considered a violation of this law.
