TEXAS DEPARTMENT OF FAMILY AND PROTECTIVE SERVICES GRANT CONTRACT PAGE 1 Grantee must use the PEIRS data collection system required by DFPS. Grantee must enter all required data directly into PEIRS, and the Grantee must perform a quality check to ensure all data required by DFPS is included and the data is accurate. Grantee must provide timely review and response to DFPS- generated quarterly performance reports. Grantee must enter data each month according to DFPS requirements and guidance. Grantee will take all appropriate steps to maintain participant confidentiality and obtain any necessary written participant consents for data analysis or disclosure of protected health information in accordance with applicable federal and state laws, including, but not limited to, authorizations, data use agreements, and business agreements, as necessary. To ensure participant health and safety, Grantee must follow DFPS requirements regarding criminal background checks and records maintenance.
