Effective September 1, 2003, the minimum base salary rate will be $850 per credit except for courses involving “N” credits in Academic Foundations in Newark and in the PALS program. Hourly rates for instruction in the PALS program shall be $33.50 per hour for the Intensive and Evening programs and $38.50 per hour for the Corporate Program. For PTLs teaching Academic Foundations courses in Newark, the minimum will be $780 per class period. A minimum base salary rate of $1,100 per credit will apply to all PTLs who have served at least 30 semesters on September 1.

If the employee meets the skills and abilities requirements of the position and chooses to remain in the reallocated position, the employee retains existing appointment status and has the right to be placed on the Employer’s internal layoff list for the classification occupied prior to the reallocation.
