Common use of Initial Vacation Period Clause in Contracts

Initial Vacation Period. Employees shall be granted fifteen (15) days of vacation per year on January 1 of each year; however, new employees shall not be granted vacation leave for their first six months of employment. Thereafter they shall be credited with seven and one-half (7 ½) days and, going forward, will be granted one and one-quarter (1 ¼) days per month until the next January 1 following their employment. Emergency Communications employees in Unit F will receive 1 ½ tours after the first six months of employment. Thereafter, they shall be credited with ¼ tour per month until the next January 1 following their employment.

Emergency Communications employees in Unit F will receive 1 ½ tours after the first six months of employment. Thereafter, they shall be credited with ¼ tour per month until the next January 1 following their employment.
