Insurance Committee. a. The Insurance Benefits Committee shall be established by the Superintendent, composed of one representative of each employee group of the Cherry Creek School District. Each representative may be appointed or elected by a majority vote of these employees. The Committee shall be chaired by a representative of the Human Resources department and include a representative of Fiscal Services. b. This Committee is charged with the responsibility of making an annual review of the District approved employee insurance plan. c. Following this review, the Committee shall make the annual report to the Superintendent. This report shall recommend retention of the existing program or appropriate changes. d. The Committee shall have the responsibility to monitor insurance coverage problems and to make procedural recommendations.
