Intermittent or Reduced Leave. A. In the case of a documented medical necessity, an employee shall be entitled to intermittent leave and/or a reduced schedule that reduces regular hours per workday or workweek for purposes of the employee's or the immediate family member's serious health condition. The employee shall make a reasonable effort to schedule intermittent leave or leave on a reduced schedule so as not to disrupt the operations of the institution's applicable unit.
