Job Accretions. When vacancies occur, the District shall assess the needs of students and the District in determining the number of hours and number of positions available. Job accretion opportunities shall be sent to eligible unit members via email. In addition, the District shall send on (1) hard copy of each accretion opportunity to each school site where unit members are eligible to apply and one (1) copy to the IA Unit President. Job accretion opportunities shall first be offered to unit members at the job site where the accretion opportunity exists based on an interview process whereby the unit member demonstrates that s/he meets subject area requirements and student needs before being filled pursuant to the provisions of this Article. When a job accretion opportunity is created due to the increasing needs of a student who already receives regular, ongoing individual support from a unit member, the opportunity shall first be offered to that unit member using the interview process described above. Should more than one unit member work with the student in this capacity, priority for the accretion shall be determined through the interview process. Should the unit member(s) supporting the student not successfully complete the interview process or should the unit member(s) decline the opportunity, they may be transferred to another position with the same number of hours, and the job accretion opportunity shall be offered to unit members at the job site where the accretion opportunity exists, using the same interview process, before being filled pursuant to the provisions of this Article

  • Annual Leave Accrual If an employee leaves State Classified employment and is later rehired, he/she shall accrue annual leave at the same rate as a new hire. However, once a rehired employee has been in pay status for five (5) years, all previous service time shall be credited for annual leave accrual. The only exception shall be for employees rehired who repay severance pay received.

  • Overhead Rates The Engineer shall use the provisional overhead rate indicated in Attachment E. If a periodic escalation of the provisional overhead rate is specified in Attachment E, the effective date of the revised provisional overhead rate must be included. For lump sum contracts, the overhead rate remains unchanged for the entire contract period.

  • Sick Leave Accrual Full-time employees will accrue eight (8) hours of sick leave in a calendar month.
