Joint Research Activities and associated work plan. B1.5.1 Overall strategy and general description The research activities in BlaticGrid-II were collected in one work package JRA1 - Enhanced Application Services on Sustainable e Infrastructure. The goal of JRA1 is to integrate the e-Science Grid Infrastructure provided by all partners in the Grid Operations activity (SA1) with enhanced user requirements. The developed services will xxxxxx the new research communities well defined in NA3 (Application Identification and Collaboration) and supported by SA3 (Application Integration and Support). The JRA will base on the existing gLite middleware (done in co-operation with EGEE-II/III) and is planning to provide a repository of open source components installed on top of gLite software. Close collaboration with NA2 is planned for supporting the education process organised via BalticGrid-II tutorials, summer schools and local workshops. The JRA1 has defined a clear vision of development of three most important components: · Migrating Desktop Platform development · Visualisation of specific computing results · Development of the Gridcom giving a good balance between the list of user demands we collected in BalticGrid, available resources (section 2.5.5), defined functionality of the software components (2.5.4) and risk assessment. The research activities provides a set of added value and innovative approaches on top of the current state, incl. BalticGrid phase 1 (section 5Strategic impact and 5.1 - Expected impacts from Joint Research Activities).

  • Development Activities The Development activities referred to in item “b” of paragraph 3.1 include: studies and projects of implementation of the Production facilities; drilling and completion of the Producing and injection xxxxx; and installation of equipment and vessels for extraction, collection, Treatment, storage, and transfer of Oil and Gas. The installation referred to in item “c” includes, but is not limited to, offshore platforms, pipelines, Oil and Gas Treatment plants, equipment and facilities for measurement of the inspected Production, wellhead equipment, production pipes, flow lines, tanks, and other facilities exclusively intended for extraction, as well as oil and gas pipelines for Production Outflow and their respective compressor and pumping stations.

  • Programs and Activities If the sponsor has received a grant (or other federal assistance) for any of the sponsor’s program or activities, these requirements extend to all of the sponsor’s programs and activities.

  • JOINT WORK PRODUCT This Agreement is the joint work product of H-GAC and the Contractor. This Agreement has been negotiated by H-GAC and the Contractor and their respective counsel and shall be fairly interpreted in accordance with its terms and, in the event of any ambiguities, no inferences shall be drawn against any party.

  • Program Activities Grantee must use the Grant Funds as set forth in Exhibit A (the “Program”).

  • Background IP Each Party will own all right, title and interest in its Background IP.
