The Joint Scheduling Committee clause establishes a committee composed of representatives from both parties to coordinate and oversee the scheduling of key activities or deliverables under the agreement. Joint Scheduling Committee. (a) The parties will establish a joint committee on scheduling policies. The committee will have two members appointed by the Union and two members appointed by the Company.
(b) The committee will meet as frequently as necessary, but in no event less than quarterly, to assess adherence to the scheduling policies and to recommend corrective action where policies are not being uniformly followed.
(c) The committee shall report to Union membership and Training management on a regular basis.

Each of the three employees shall receive a stipend in the amount of $300.00 as compensation for serving on this committee.

Recommendations on how to improve compliance with the scheduling policies or to modify or add to those policies will be provided to the Chief Pilot, Flight Training – Airplane for appropriate action. As necessary, the Chief Pilot will refer issues to the Chief Pilot, Flight Training – Operations for resolution.

Joint Scheduling Committee. 20 The Joint Scheduling Committee shall meet once per service change. The committee shall 21 consist of up to three members appointed by METRO and up to three members appointed by the 22 UNION. Duties of the committee shall be restricted to discussing scheduling goals and documented 23 concerns about schedules. The committee shall make recommendations to help METRO improve 24 route scheduling and planning for the next practicable service change. If the committee believes there 25 is not enough time at the end of the line to use the restroom based upon documented concerns, 26 METRO shall measure actual walk time to and from the restroom. If it is proven the schedule is 27 deficient, the committee shall discuss feasibility around schedule adjustments to reflect required 28 restroom travel and layover time. The committee will make recommendations for these schedule 1 adjustments to METRO. Base-specific subcommittees with representatives from both PARTIES shall 2 be formed to discuss scheduling issues pertaining to a specific base. Any recommendations that lead 3 to changes to this AGREEMENT must be negotiated by the PARTIES and agreed to by both the 4 UNION Business Agent/designee and the Office of Labor Relations pursuant to Article 27, Section 1.

Base-specific subcommittees with representatives from both PARTIES 3 shall be formed to discuss scheduling issues pertaining to a specific base.
