Common use of Jury and Witness Duty Clause in Contracts

Jury and Witness Duty. If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest in connection with a case arising from the employee's duties at the Nursing Home, the employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, provided that the employee: (a) notifies the Nursing Home immediately on the employee's notification that he will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's attendance; and (c) deposits with the Nursing Home the full amount of compensation received, excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.

Jury and Witness Duty. If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena summons to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest in connection with a the case arising from the employee's duties at the Nursing Home, the such employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, attendance and shall not be required to work on the day of such duty provided that the employeeshe: (a) notifies the Nursing Home their Nurse Manager immediately on the employee's notification that he she will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's attendance; and; (c) deposits with the Nursing Home the full amount of compensation received, received excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, allowances and an official receipt thereofwhere available.

If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest in connection with a case arising from the employee's duties at the Nursing Homeapartment complex, the employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, provided that the employee: (a) notifies Notifies the Nursing Home apartment complex immediately on the employee's notification that he she will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's attendance; and (c) deposits with the Nursing Home apartment complex the full amount of compensation received, ; excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.

Jury and Witness Duty. If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest in connection with a case arising from the employee's duties at the Nursing HomeRetirement Residence, the employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, provided that the employee: (a) notifies the Nursing Home Retirement Residence immediately on the employee's notification that he will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's attendance; and (c) deposits with the Nursing Home Retirement Residence the full amount of compensation received, excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.

If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest in connection with a case arising from the employee's duties at the Nursing Homeworkplace, the employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, provided that the employee: (a) notifies Notifies the Nursing Home Employer immediately on the employee's notification that he will be required to attend at court; (b) presents Presents proof of service requiring the employee's attendance; and (c) deposits Deposits with the Nursing Home Employer the full amount of compensation received, excluding mileage, travelling traveling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.
