Common use of Jury and Witness Duty Clause in Contracts

Jury and Witness Duty. If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employee's duties at the nursing Employer, the employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, including the selection and all preliminary processes, provided that the employee: (a) notifies the Employer immediately on the employee's notification that she will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's attendance; and (c) deposits with the Employer the full amount of compensation received, excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.

If an employee Employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employee's duties at the nursing EmployerResidence, the employee Employee shall not lose regular pay from her regularly scheduled shift because of such attendance, including the selection and all preliminary processes, provided that the employeeEmployee: (a) notifies the Employer immediately on the employeeEmployee's notification that she he will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's attendance; and (c) deposits with the Employer the full amount of compensation received, excluding mileage, travelling traveling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.

If an a employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's coroners inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employee's employee’s duties at the nursing EmployerHome, the employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, including attendance and shall not be required to work on the selection and all preliminary processes, day of such duty provided that the employee: (a) notifies the Employer immediately on the employee's ’s notification that she will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's ’s attendance; and; (c) deposits with the Employer the full amount of compensation received, received excluding mileage, travelling traveling and meal allowance, allowances and an official receipt thereofwhere available.

Jury and Witness Duty. 23.01 If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a partyparty (in which the employee is not the accused), or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's ’s inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employee's employee’s duties at the nursing Employer, the employee shall not lose regular pay or seniority because of such attendance, including the selection and all preliminary processes, provided that the employee: (a) notifies the Employer immediately on the employee's ’s notification that she he will be required to attend at court; (b) presents present proof of service requiring the employee's ’s attendance; and (c) deposits with the Employer the full amount of compensation received, excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.

Jury and Witness Duty. If an employee Employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend jury selection, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's Coroner’s inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employee's ’s duties at the nursing Employer, the employee Employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, including the selection and all preliminary processes, attendance provided that the employeeEmployee: (a) notifies the Employer immediately on the employee's Employee’s notification that she she/he will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's Employee’s attendance; and; (c) deposits with the Employer the full amount of compensation received, received excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, allowances and an official receipt thereofreceipt.

If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's ’s inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employee's employees duties at the nursing EmployerHospital, the employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, including attendance and shall not be required to work on the selection and all preliminary processes, day of such duty provided that the employee: (a) notifies the Employer Hospital immediately on the employee's ’s notification that she she/he will be required to attend at courtcourt or such coroner’s inquest; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's ’s attendance; and; (c) deposits with the Employer Hospital the full amount of compensation received, received excluding mileage, travelling traveling and meal allowance, allowances and an official receipt thereofwhere available.

If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's ’s inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employee's employee’s duties at the nursing EmployerHospital, the employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, including attendance and shall not be required to work on the selection and all preliminary processes, day of duty provided that the employee: (aI) notifies Notifies the Employer Hospital immediately on the employee's ’s notification that she will be required to attend at court; (bII) presents Presents proof of service requiring the employee's ’s attendance; and; (cIII) deposits Deposits with the Employer Hospital the full amount of compensation received, received excluding mileage, travelling traveling and meal allowance, allowances and an official receipt thereofwhere available.

Jury and Witness Duty. ‌ If an employee Employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's ’s inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employee's duties at the nursing Employerscope of Employment, the employee Employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, including attendance during the selection and all preliminary processes, Employee’s regularly scheduled working hours provided that the employeeEmployee: (a) notifies the Employer immediately on the employeeEmployee's notification that she the Employee will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employeeEmployee's attendance; and; (c) deposits with the Employer the full amount of compensation received, received excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, allowances and an official receipt thereofwhere available.

If an employee Employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's ’s inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employee's ’s duties at with the nursing Employer, the employee Employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, including the selection and all preliminary processes, provided that the employeeEmployee: (a) notifies Notifies the Employer immediately on the employee's Employee’s notification that she he will be required to attend at court; (b) presents Presents proof of service requiring the employee's Employee’s attendance; and (c) deposits Deposits with the Employer the full amount of compensation received, excluding mileage, travelling traveling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.

If an employee Employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employee's ’s duties at the nursing EmployerNursing Home, the employee Employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, including the selection and all preliminary processes, provided that the employeeEmployee: (a) notifies the Employer Nursing Home immediately on the employee's Employee’s notification that she he will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's Employee’s attendance; and (c) deposits with the Employer Nursing Home the full amount of compensation received, excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.

Jury and Witness Duty. If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a party, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law or coroner's inquest in connection with a case arising from the Employeeemployee's duties at the nursing EmployerNursing Home, the employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, including the selection and all preliminary processes, provided that the employee: (a) notifies the Employer Nursing Home immediately on the employee's notification that she he will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's attendance; and (c) deposits with the Employer Nursing Home the full amount of compensation received, excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.

Jury and Witness Duty. If an employee is required to serve as a juror in any court of law, or is required to attend as a witness in a court proceeding in which the Crown is a partyor arbitration proceeding, or is required by subpoena to attend a court of law law, xxxxxxx’s inquest or coroner's inquest arbitration proceeding, in connection with a case arising from the Employee's employee’s duties at with the nursing Employer, the employee shall not lose regular pay because of such attendance, including the selection and all preliminary processes, provided that the employee: (a) notifies the Employer immediately on the employee's ’s notification that she he will be required to attend at court; (b) presents proof of service requiring the employee's ’s attendance; and (c) deposits with the Employer the full amount of compensation received, excluding mileage, travelling and meal allowance, and an official receipt thereof.
