Jury Duty and Subpoena. A. A Bargaining Unit Member who is absent from work to participate in a legal proceeding pursuant to a summons or subpoena will not lose any salary or wages as a result thereof. An employee is required to immediately report to his/her supervisor the dates of absence that will be required to comply with the summons or subpoena and provide a copy of the court issued documentation requiring attendance. B. A subpoenaed Bargaining Unit Member shall attempt to arrange the court appearance to interfere minimally with regularly assigned duties.
