Common use of Jury Duty and Subpoenas Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty and Subpoenas. Regular full-time employees who receive a Jury Duty Summons will receive their regular rate of pay during jury selection and while serving on a jury less any amount received from the Court for jury selection or for attending or sitting on a jury. Employees on jury duty shall furnish the Employer with such statements of earnings as the courts may supply. Employees who are served with a subpoena to attend Court will be dealt with on a case by case basis. Employees subpoenaed by the Union will not be eligible. Regular Part-time +20 employees, who have successfully completed their probationary period with BCAA, who are required to attend court for jury selection or as a juror will receive a rate of pay equivalent to the average of their regular daily pay for the previous 6 months less any amount received from the Court for jury selection or for attending or sitting on a jury.
