Jury Duty and Subpoenas. Employees required to serve on jury duty shall be granted a leave of absence with pay from their assigned duties until released by the court, provided the employee remits to the Agency all fees received from such duties, other than mileage or subsistence allowed, within thirty (30) days from the termination of jury duty. Employees who are witnesses on behalf of, or at the request of, the Agency in any court proceeding or who are subpoenaed in any court preceding by a third party shall be entitled to leave with pay for those hours reasonably necessary to serve as a witness, provided the employee remits to the Agency all fees received from such duties, other than mileage or subsistence, within thirty (30) days from the time the employee appears as a witness. In all other court matters, the employee must obtain approval from the Agency before taking time off. Such time off will be treated as leave without pay.
