Common use of Jury Duty Leave/Responding to a Subpoena Clause in Contracts

Jury Duty Leave/Responding to a Subpoena. Any employee called for service as a juror, or under a subpoena in a criminal case, will be granted a leave for that period required by the courts. During such period of leave, the employee will be entitled to normal pay; however, he/she will remit to the City the jury or witness fee (excluding mileage allowance) received by the employee for jury or witness duty while on such full pay status with the City.
