Key Control. The Contractor shall receive, secure, issue and account for any keys issued for access to buildings, offices, equipment, gates, etc., for the purposes of this contract. The Contractor shall not duplicate keys without the COR's approval. Where it is determined that the Contractor or its agents have duplicated a key without permission of the COR, the Contractor shall remove the individual(s) responsible from this contract. If the Contractor has lost any such keys, the Contractor shall immediately notify the COR. In either event, the Contractor shall reimburse the Government for the cost of rekeying that portion of the system.
Key Control. The Seller shall establish and implement methods of making sure all keys/key cards issued to the Seller by the Government are not lost or misplaced and are not used by unauthorized persons. NOTE: All references to keys include key cards. No keys issued to the Seller by the Government shall be duplicated. The Seller shall develop and follow procedures covering key control that shall be included in the Standard Operating Procedures. Such procedures shall include turning in of any issued keys by personnel who no longer require access to locked areas. The Seller shall immediately report any occurrences of lost or duplicate keys/key cards to the Agreements Officer. In the event keys, other than master keys, are lost or duplicated, the Seller shall, upon direction of the Government, re-key or replace the affected lock or locks; however, the Government, at its option, may replace the affected lock or locks or perform re-keying. When the replacement of locks or re-keying is performed by the Government, the total cost of re-keying or the replacement of the lock or locks shall be deducted from Seller payments. In the event a master key is lost or duplicated, all locks and keys for that system shall be replaced by the Government and the total cost deducted from the Seller. The Seller shall prohibit access to Government issued keys/key cards by unauthorized personnel other than the Seller’s employees. The Seller shall prohibit entry into controlled areas by unauthorized personnel other than the Seller’s employees engaged in the performance of assigned work in those areas, or personnel authorized entrance by the USG Agreements Officer.

Key Control. The Contractor shall ensure that all keys issued to Contractor support personnel are accounted for and controlled. At a minimum, the Contractor shall be responsible for the following:
1. Ensuring keys are only used by the Contractor's employees
2. Prohibiting the opening of locked areas by the Contractor's employees to permit entrance of persons other than the Contractor or Census Bureau employees engaged in the performance of assigned work in those areas
3. Ensuring keys issued to the Contractor by the Government are not duplicated
4. Ensuring keys issued by the Government are not lost or misplaced
5. Reporting the loss of any key in writing to the COR within eight (8) clock hours of occurrence or at the beginning of the next scheduled workday, whichever occurs first
Key Control. The County shall ensure that emergency keys are appropriately marked and identifiable by touch, and consistently stored in a quickly accessible location, and that staff are adequately trained in the use of the emergency keys. Without admitting prior deficiencies, the County of Oklahoma County will continue striving to provide constitutional standards of care to all detainees and inmates at the Jail.

The Contractor shall prohibit the opening of locked areas by Contractor employees to permit entrance of persons other than Contractor employees engaged in the performance of assigned work in those areas, or personnel authorized entrance by the CO. Contractor shall establish and implement methods to ensure all keys and key cards issued to the Contractor by the Government are appropriately used, and are not lost, not misplaced, and not used by unauthorized persons. NOTE: All references to keys include key cards. No keys issued to the Contractor by the Government shall be duplicated. The Contractor shall develop procedures covering key control that shall be included in the QCP. Such procedures shall include turn-in of any issued keys by personnel who no longer require access to locked areas. The Contractor shall immediately report any occurrences of lost or duplicate keys/key cards to the Contracting Officer or their COR.
Key Control a) Under normal circumstances security officers should not be entrusted to keep or safeguard office, building or vehicle keys. Proper key control as dictated in paragraph 9.2 or as per site requirement must be maintained by security officers entrusted with keys used by Eskom at all times. Should losses occur due to lack of key control or unauthorized use of keys by security officers; The Contractor will be held liable for such losses.
b) Under no circumstances must SO’s accept any keys unless prior arrangements and approval has been conveyed to do so by the Employer.
c) Security officers must not accept vehicle keys or drive / park vehicles at the request of any employee, visitor or Contractor.
Key Control. (a) The Contractor shall establish and implement methods of making sure all keys issued by the Government to the Contractor employee use are not lost or misplaced and are not used by unauthorized persons nor duplicated.
(b) The Contractor shall immediately report to the COR or the Contracting Officer any occurrences of loss, unauthorized use, or unauthorized duplication of keys.
(c) In the event that keys, other than master keys, are lost or duplicated, the Contractor maybe required upon written direction of the Contracting Officer, to rekey or replace the affected lock(s) without cost to the Government. The Government may, however, at its option, replace the affected lock(s) or perform rekeying and deduct the cost of such from the monthly payment due the Contractor. In the event a master key is lost or duplicated, all locks and keys for that system shall be replaced by the Contractor and the total cost deducted from the monthly payment due the Contractor.
Key Control. Contractor shall ensure keys issued by HAS are not lost, misplaced, or used by unauthorized persons. Keys issued by HAS must not be duplicated. Contractor shall be charged for replacement of locks or re-keying. Contractor shall report occurrences of lost keys immediately to HAS.
